With the Audiozender 2.0 "Model M", you have a high-quality mobile system for broadcasting ("streaming") and recording from any location. Combined with a very affordable 3G mobile broadband subscription from Vodafone for example, you can have unlimited broadcasts from anywhere in the Netherlands for just €  16,81 per month. 24 hours per day if you want, 365 days per year.

The Audiozender 2.0 "Model M" is based on a robust Asus Eee-type mini-notebook, which is specially adjusted to be able to record CD quality audio. The device is only slightly bigger than half an A4 sheet, and doesn't weigh more than a kilo. Using the built-in accu pack, you can broadcast for about five hours without the mains plug connected.

Broadcast
You can connect the Audiozender 2.0 "Model M" to practically any audio installation using the supplied cable set. If one of the existing devices has a headphones socket, then that will do just fine. And on locations where connecting is more difficult, we can easily realize a new extra connection point for optimal comfort. Then it is: "Plug in and switch on to broadcast."

In situations where no audio installation is present, you can connect any PC-type microphone. We also have a quality tie-clip microphone available, so that you have both hands free. This way, you can even broadcast live from the middle of a corn field, so to speak.

Broadcasting is possible via 3G mobile broadband (UMTS), but also, without subscription, via WiFi (802.11b/g), or of course via a wired connection and ADSL or cable modem.

The Audiozender 2.0 can transmit in many qualities. For example a small bandwidth so that everyone in the world can receive your transmission, even when they have a very slow internet connection. Or a very high quality, that will be highly appreciated by listeners with costly audio equipment. Broadcasting multiple qualities simultaneously is also possible, but will lead to increased costs when using 3G mobile broadband.

Record
The Audiozender 2.0 can also record the signal from your audio installation or separate microphone in CD quality to USB memory sticks and USB hard drives. Furthermore, you can directly use SD/SDHC memory cards, and also all other types of memory cards via any USB card reader. Simultaneous recording to multiple USB devices is no problem. And operation cannot be simpler: plug in to record. So just one single action to start recording, which makes this device completely unique.

You can easily transfer a recording from the USB stick or memory card to your PC, and for example create a CD from it. And when you leave a USB hard drive permanently connected, an archive of all recent recordings will be automatically maintained on it. When the hard drive is almost full, the oldest recordings will be automatically removed to make room for new ones.
